Natasha C. Miller is a leader in health information management and is credentialed through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) with her Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). She is also certified through the American Academy of Professional Coder (AAPC) and holds her Certified Professional Coder certification (CPC), Certified Professional Biller (CPB), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), Certified Professional Coder – Instructor (CPC-I), and is AAPC Certified ICD-10-CM Trainer. She has over 22 years combined healthcare experience in medical coding, auditing, educating, training, project management, consulting, speaking, staff augmentation, medical records, clinical, teaching provider documentation, teaching medical billing and coding, risk adjustment, medical insurance eligibility, claims adjudication, supervisory, compliance, and management.
Natasha C. Miller received her Master's of Science degree in Health Information Management (HIM) from The College of St. Scholastica in 2016. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Walden University in 2012. Natasha Miller also received her Associate of Science degree in Social Sciences from Sacramento City College in 2007. Natasha is also a Professor for a University teaching Health Information Management, Health Information Technology, Reimbursement, and Medical Coding.
Natasha C. Miller is a member of the AAPC and AHIMA. Natasha loves to learn and participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay current with health information management and the business of medicine. She has a passion for mentoring new coders and is excited to hear when one of her previous students calls to say they have passed their certification exam.
Natasha C. Miller is a native of Oakland, California, and resides in Sacramento, California with her husband Arguster, married for 15 years, her daughter Neema, bonus daughter Jacqlyn, and sons Jaron, Judah, & Jadon. Natasha is involved in her church and community where she enjoys ministering to the youth and adults about vision, dreams, and goals.
